The Keithley Model 2401 is a SourceMeter® Multifunction Unit (SMU) (20V, 1A, 20W). The device is designed for test applications where tight coupling of source and measurement is required. It provides precise voltage and current injection and measurement. It includes a highly stable, low-noise DC power supply with readback capability and a low-noise 6.5-digit multimeter with high repeatability. This results in a compact, single-channel DC parametric tester that can be used as a voltage source, current source, voltmeter, ammeter and ohmmeter. This SMU is an irreplaceable helper for many different characterization and test tasks in the production process, especially in the production of components and modules for communications, semiconductors, computers, automotive and medical technology.
